Internet holiday accommodation scams

It's been brought to my attention that some individuals are operating illegal, unscrupulous and fraudulent advertisements to collect money deposits and payments from holiday guests for properties they do not own. Please find attached details of my ownerships to prove I am operating a legitimate holiday rentals business.

International travellers passport info

After October 2004, your passport needs to be ‘machine readable’ as the USA plans to implement new immigration laws from this date. Take photocopies of your passports and take these with you in case you’re asked for ID at any of the theme parks or attractions.

Orlando public transport

The quality of public transport around Orlando’s attractions isn’t too great, so a car or mini van becomes a necessity. Speeding is an extremely expensive pastime however, so please beware.

Mosquitos

Mosquitos can be a problem, so cover-up in the mornings & evenings when the mosquitoes are ‘out hunting’. Insect repellents containing DEET help keep them at bay.

Travel insurance

The USA doesn’t provide any state-funded medical care for overseas visitors, which makes travel insurance an absolute necessity. Without insurance, treatment costs can be very, very high.

Attraction tickets

Most theme parks offer special discounted tickets when purchased in advance, especially if you buy online. Take advantage of these offers to save having to stand in queues when you arrive at the attractions. It’s like jumping the queue & it saves you money!

Food and drink prices

It’s no secret that things like food, drink and camera film are very expensive once you’re inside a theme park. Avoid these expenses by taking drink bottles with you… then make use of the water fountains for free refills. Best take an extra roll of film and some spare batteries with you too.
